“The Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation is a Washington, D.C. based 501(c)3 non-profit policy organization that seeks the reduction and eventual elimination of nuclear weapons as a significant tool of U.S. national security policy.” In addition, “the Center’s Program on Biological and Chemical Weapons Control and its Scientists Working Group seek to reinforce the norm against biological and chemical weapons and any hostile use of biology, and to enhance prevention and defense efforts against those who would violate this norm. The Program develops working papers, reports, recommendations and briefings on technical and policy issues for the Congress, the media and public, and international community.”
