Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology (PACST)
PACST was established to advise the President about S&T policy and development in the Republic of Korea. It is authorized to do three main tasks: 1) to develop strategic policies related to technological innovation and human resources development, 2) to provide proper guidelines for system reforms to the ministries related to S&T as well as the President, 3 )to undertake special tasks which are playing a more critical role.

Korea Center of Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC)
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), expanding National Institute of Health, was established in January, 2004 and was restructured into “Center and Team” system in November 2005; it’s aim is to protect the public from various diseases and to foster a safe and healthful environment.

Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB)
KRIBB is a government research institute dedicated to biotechnology research across a span of expertise, from fundamental life science to applied studies such as new drug discovery, novel biomaterials, integrated biotechnology, and bioinformation.
